Apologies for the lack of posts. It’s a busy time of year. So, anyway, I’ve spent a good deal of time, as you may know, considering human sexuality, especially as concerns 2D fetishism and the various subdivisions thereof. This series of… discussions, I guess you could call them, are one of the things I started OCnE to talk about as I’ve wanted to put forth my ideas on the various “weird” and “gross” (as mainstream society tends to see them, fetishes of our 2D world and maybe give fans a few places to turn for help with explaining their fascination to others; likewise, a place for those unacquainted with the particular fetishes to get a better understanding of what is at play here and a perspective that will help them see it through the eyes of a fan of that fetish.

Today, we’ll be talking about futanari. Chicks with penises. A bold choice for a first post on the subject, no doubt, but often one of the least understood of fetishes and one that has a very non-vocal fanbase outside of certain image boards and the futaket convention. Likewise, it is a fetish that is one of my personal favorites and I hope to help explain why, such that others might find their way into the glorious light of man-free sex.

First things first, often times I see an amount of confusion for futanarikko as trannies. This is a fairly inaccurate statement. While the two are not mutually exclusive in the minds of many partakers of the futanari, many of the fans I have talked to draw a firm line between females with penises and men with fake breasts and cheap wigs. I’d love to post a picture for comparison sake, but I shan’t like to do my readers such an injustice. We are, generally, not fans of futanari because of the idea that it’s a man with breasts, but rather because of the overflowing femininity that has been given an overwhelmingly masculine appendage. A lot of this comes from the fact that men are visually oriented sexually, almost to a fault. I often use the example that if you showed a close-up of a hotdog rubbing between the edges of a hotdog bun, many men would get hard.

By that same token, let’s take a perfectly acceptable situation, sexually, and apply it here. The blowjob. It’s an oft pondered over thing why men so enjoy seeing a blowjob scene in porn, sometimes to the preference of all else. There is a simple word that will play heavily into pretty much any fetish I talk about here, and that is proxy. Men, while it is not needed, are generally greatly aided by a proxy so that they can have someone to relate to in the erotic situation. This is something that not many men consider, I imagine, but it is often the case. The penis being sucked because our penis in our minds and the imagery becomes all the more potent. Now, let’s apply this to futanari. When the penis is in full view, we have a proxy without any sort of competition, i.e. another male. That is to say, we don’t have a guy who doesn’t fit properly into our mental image of ourselves, instead we have a penis, through which to proxy, and a second woman. So, in effect, the sexual imagery is all the more potent.

For the slow people, I will sum it up. You get all the benefits of yuri and hetero porn without the fat guy with no face. In fact, that is one of the things I find the most enjoyable. You get a (in the stuff I look at) beautiful girl fucking another beautiful girl, making those wonderful expressions. To draw another example that is nice and quotable, it’s like strap-on porn with a money shot. Many men know the importance of seeing ejaculation. To explain, it is very similar to the original proxy of the penis to begin with, their sexual excitement and release becomes ours in our mind. Likewise, seeing ejaculate tends to do for males what seeing a delicious meal does for a hungry person. These topics are basically just relative to normal sex, but that is really the truth to futanari, it’s not that far off from normal sex. Just take a girl in a strap-on, make the strap-on real and you’re done.

Well, first off, the art is really fantastic. I’ve always been a big fan of artist that are capable of portraying the softness of women, when they are soft, that is. The curves of the ladies and the way their various part mash to together. It’s wonderful. Now when I was looking through the book to try to find a solid genre to put it in, I was rather hard pressed to get it. Let’s run the list here. There’s clearly some nipple fetishism, there’s femdom, there’s futa, there’s group sex, chikan, lots of anal play, yuri. The list proably goes on a bit more, but that’s not going to give you an idea of what goes on.

Itou Sayuri is a new office lady at a company with some rather interesting company policies. Well, let’s take the uniform for example. The vest doesn’t cover the breasts, there is no skirt to speak of, and women’s name tags are worn through the nipple. Just like the company I work at. Basically the story goes that the office ladies are in charge of keeping up productivity by blowing all the guys in the office any time they get a hard on. Through the course of things, the ladies take advantage of each other as well. Good stuff. The only chapter that really felt sort of out of place was the train chapter. Things just sort of seemed not to fit in, and it felt more like wish fulfillment that anything else. That is not to say it wasn’t super hot. The chapter eye catch (or whatever you call it) was the hottest in the entire book , hands down.

Anyway, moving forward, things start to move forward so far as the plot goes. Some Americans come to perform a hostile takeover. I would be playing up the hilarious pun-like nature of these sorts of things, but any joke I could make about hostile takeovers and things like that are really just… you know… the way the story goes. Yes, the Americans come to fuck the shit out of the dominatrix Japanese business owner. I think it sort of works out that whichever president gets the most worn out from the fucking loses? That seemed to be how it worked. Chapter five, let me tell you, it contains the gayest looking guy I’ve seen outside of yaoi in a good while. Really amazing.

Anyway, the Americans get their shit going by having a sexy Indian futa girl take it to town on the Japanese boss. It’s really a fairly approachable futa scene if it’s something you’re hesitant about liking. And it’s also part of an otherwise fairly typical book. I know a lot of people out there aren’t really familiar with a lot of eromanga, so when I say it’s typical, it’s probably still a good deal more extreme than many of the things you find online. Just so you know. Expand your world people.

So anyway, the Americans win, the Japanese boss is forced to get dominated. Sayuri gets some.. enema-centric administrative punishment. There’s not scat play or anything. So don’t worry. Rather, they cut away from the scat and replace it with a more pleasing image of summer time fun. So, after Sayuri blows shit water all over the new president, the president asks Sayuri to marry her. Yeah, I don’t quite get it either. Then they get married. That’s about it.

Really, over all, this story was just sort of inane, but I have to say the art and the sort of happy-go-lucky flow of the coming really make it worth reading over and over again. I say that because you have at least six or seven different runs of scenes that are worth enjoying. And they’re good for more than one visit. I guarantee that you’ll find something hot the second time in, some sexy detail, that you missed the second time.

Now, that’s the story. The book comes with some extras from the author, and let me say that I am extremely pleased to read that Tuna Empire also has a thing for girls with scars. Oh man. I would just eat up some eromanga with girls with scars. Or at least one girl with scars. So far, the only thing I can find to get that sort of thing is doujin. Please let Tuna-sensei make a scar-girl eromanga! Simon! License any you see! I will buy all the copies! (Note: unrealistic dream.)

And that’s it from me. Please do buy the book. It’s well worth the purchase. The art is amazing, the story is fun, and the mangaka clearly knows how to make a manga that you can get more than one round of spanks out of.
