Well, this artist comes with a funny story… nekomataya’s site says to ask for permission before reusing anything, so I figured I’d do the decent thing and use my broken Japanese to ask her (assuming that with the name Naomi it’s a girl. This will be the assumption of the article. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong.) if I could use her porno on my porno site to do a feature. So, I got about as far as linking the site and was in the process of trying to remember the word for feature when neko disappeared into the Blocked-the-perverted-American abyss. Ah well, she can suck it. Be nicer to strange, ero-site running Americans, jerk! Jeez! Not that you can understand this. I won’t be doing that again, anyway.

At any rate, you’ve probably seen a lot of nekomataya’s stuff around, especially with the popularity of Naruto in this country. And lucky for you, she just laid down a new layout on her site. It’s better than what was there before, believe me. And what? The latest post is some line work from Kujian. Not very good, so far as I prefer, but beggars can’t be choosers in these matters. Anyway, moving on to the good, or why I picked nekomataya in the first place, she is a very talented artist. That range here is a bit more typical and you’ll notice that there isn’t a whole lot of variation on character styles chosen. A lot of focus on the typical single girl, sometimes there is some loli. But one of the things you will see here, that contrasts mogudan from last week, is an obvious preference for the smaller chested ladies of anime. There is some occasional venturing into the larger breasted ladies, but they still clock in at a much more modest size than they are often portrayed as by other artsts. Neko has even gotten some work in the industry, doing animation work on Blood: The Last Vampire, Eureka 7, and Wolf’s Rain, among others. Definitely a professional, but I would more be likely to recommend neko to the Naruto fan, as that seems to be where her work really shines. There are some doujin samples in the “doujin” section, and all the adult business is in the “gallery” area. It’s pretty easy to navigate, so do please check it out. While the ero stuff is a bit lacking, you can always just look at the non-ero art, which tends to border on ecchi, and is usually at least suggestive, or you could buy some doujin if you live in Japan. There’s some DLSite goodness too, so Americans can likely get a hold of it. The main reason to bookmark nekomataya’s site? There is a daily picture update, which is often progress shots of a new piece of art from lines to finished color art. It’s very entertaining to watch the art evolved, especially if it’s ero. So give a look, and if you’re going to Comiket 70, stop by the booth she (or he if I am totally wrong) is in and say that blocking me was uncool. Then buy whatever doujin is on the table. Well, before we begin, you will notice the categories this is in. Yes, we’re popping your futanari cherry. Well, maybe not, but we’ll damn sure try! This week’s feature is Blow the Night by the wonderfully talented circle HarthNir. HarthNir is a circle with a wide range of talents. They’re doujin has covered the gaming scene from Final Fantasy 8 to Wild Arms 3; they’ve done anime based doujin; they’ve done short stories; and it’s all good stuff. Now, before you get worried that I’m going to post some Japanese-only erotic novel, don’t get too freaked out. It’s not that. But I feel it’s worth noting that they can bring the story line, and the fetish story line at that. Their art isn’t always so clean as the other doujinshi that have been featured thus far, but they tend to save the sketchy art for the back pages and generally put their best foot forward for the bulk of the any image heavy works. That being said, let’s move on to the meat of this particular offering.

Blow the Night is based on Guilty Gear X. It tells the absolutely non-canon tale of Millia Rage and Kuradoberi Jam’s futanari encounter. One thing that you already know if you know HarthNir, is that they love to draw lactation. Well, one assumes it’s lactation lacking the color and lack of other substances that eject from nipples, but for argument sake, it’s lactation. So this work features Jam sporting a modestly-sized penis (which is on purpose, so as to ease any new people into futanari) and Millia ending up on the receiving end of some extremely hot loving. It starts out with Jam giving Millia’s zealous breasts the what-for and, after a thorough working over of the breasts, Jam comes to realize that all this mipple play has gotten her all hot and bothered. This, of course, leads to her tit-fucking Millia, ending in a facial that leaves Millian wanting. Jam plays coy, Millia postures, and Jam gives her the hot anal pounding she’d been basically begging for, or so you’d imagine. I should mention that Millia makes use of her in-game abilities during this. If you’ve never played Guilty Gear then it could be a surprise for you. But, that being said, this is a hot, non-over-the-top piece of futanari that won’t be off putting for first-timers, though I have to admit that people who demand a bit more out of their futanari might find it a bit lacking. I’d disagree and say that good ero is good ero, but you can’t please everyone, I suppose. There’s always next week. IS THAT A HINT?! WHO KNOWS!! Right, well, remember on Wednesday when I said I was going to be moving away from the more standard stuff and get a little heavier into the fetishes? Well, I’m going to go ahead and start that trend right now with bakunyuu master, mogudan. Now, when you think of fetish art, it becomes sort of hard to believe that people can do it well, but mogudan’s thick and — shall we say — filled out ladies will draw you in. You might be saying to yourself, “Maybe I’m not into nipples you could finger and…” stop right there! Because a.) it’s hot and b.) I promise if you stop and look at these things, really take them in, then you will see what I mean when I say that it’s sexy and hot. No it doesn’t work on a normal woman, that’s the wrong perspective. The reason we’re all into 2D in the first place is the lack of reality, so indulge in it, let your mind find the eroticism in the picture you see. It’s there for sure. Now, you’ll notice that most everything on mogudan’s site is of Rei, but that’s ok. I’m not especially featuring him for the diversity (although it is a place which he is quite capable) I am linking him because he is one of the foremost talents in drawing extremely attractive and erotic bakunyuu art, and it’s on the deeper end of the bakunyuu spectrum. The detail put into the works allow you to really savor the picture and enjoy the experience, for lack of wanting to say erotic again. But most importantly, when you look at mogudan’s art, don’t just look at the picture and think about what you like. Look at the lines that their bodies form, the curves and how right they feel, and notice every indention and the softness it conveys and the beauty inherit in it. I’m sorry for getting all artful on you guys, but I don’t want this fetish to be lost on you, because it’s something of which everyone should experience the more complex sexuality. I don’t want to hear “does liking this make me fat” because I won’t say “Nah, man. You don’t have to like fatties.” I will say “So what if you do? Does it really hurt you to do so?” Recognizing the erotic nature of things is inherent and, as such, shouldn’t be shunned or turned away, but embraced and understood on a personal level. Look at bakunyuu and enjoy it and don’t consider the thoughts of others. You don’t have to tell them, let alone explain it to them. It’s your desire, embrace it! I just got an e-mail from Shii (shii.org, wonderful work with gp32 on some eroge translations) regarding the hongfire.com issue pointing to Article 502 of the PROTECT Act. Before I start talking legal business, let’s have it be known that I do not support child pornography, child abuse, or most anything having to do with children. Why I do support, however, is free expression without limits and the idea that lolicon images are not related to child pornography any more than public playgrounds and toy sections are. There may be some overlap, but even than lolicon is more likely to act is a differant than anything else, and while I whole heartedly support the instant execution of child molsters, abusers, etc., I don’t feel lolicon has anything on common with that. So, moving forward, regardless of whether it turns your on or not, it’s something that’s out there and, stodgy right-wingers be damned, I think it should be allowed. Moving forward.

The e-mail I got from Shii details article 504 of the PROTECT Act (proving that relying on other people’s stuff is likely a bad idea, thanks for reading ahead to 504, jackasses.) which rather plainly states that:

`(a) IN GENERAL- Any person who, in a circumstance described in subsection (d), knowingly produces, distributes, receives, or possesses with intent to distribute, a visual depiction of any kind, including a drawing, cartoon, sculpture, or painting, that–

(1)(A) depicts a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; and

(B) is obscene; or

(2)(A) depicts an image that is, or appears to be, of a minor engaging in graphic bestiality, sadistic or masochistic abuse, or sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex; and

(B) lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value;

or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 2252A(b)(1), including the penalties provided for cases involving a prior conviction.

So what does all this mean? Well, basically the first part is wide open because no one can really prove obscenity (see: The millions of previous cases involving movies, music and other art forms) and the second part is saying that any of the standard, and non-standard sex acts aren’t cool, but then tried to “protect” free expression and speech by saying that’s maybe cool if it has serious artistic value.

Again, I would argue that “artistic value” is one of those foggy sorts of statements made so that if this sort of thing gets brought before an uptight judge, you go to jail, but if not, you can probably make a decently sufficient case for yourself. This is one of the reasons I hate our legal system, but don’t get me started on that because that’s not why I made this site. I would argue that loli in the part of a story line, or what have you, contains as much artistic value, if not more, than that tripe book Lolita (it’s a shitty book, sorry) and makes itself exempt from the afore mentioned laws. Moreover, if Hustler can get away with releasing Hentai that ADMITS WITHIN ITSELF to be taking place in a high school, and get away with it because of the “All Actresses Herein Are Over 18, LOL!” warning then we have some bigger problems in the first place.

In short, I imagine you all want an answer about posting loli on this site. That answer is “yes” so long as said loli is part of a greater storyline, but that in itself depends on Six, if he wants to run any risk there might be. When the guys at Danbooru and 4chan announce their arrests, I will take anything loli down and that’ll be that. From what Shii tells me, laws against this sort of thing have been overturned twice in the past, and it shouldn’t be an exception this time. Moreover, it’s not the government’s place to tell us what we can draw, or, provided no other human being is involved, what we can look at. It’s a damn shame, but I abide by the law so let’s clean this place up a little.

Well, I feel so crass calling it porn because suzuneko is really an accomplished guy. If you’re a dabbler of fine Japanese magazines and websites, you’ll likely have seen his work around. He’s done a few wallpapers for Galge, two pinups for Core magazine, an S&M Sniper for Wairea and the cover for Enterbrain’s Ragnarok manga anthology. Now, I ended with the Ragnarok bit on purpose, because it’s more likely that you’ve seen his stuff being reposted on image boards whenever some get s in the mood to post some sexy Rangarok ladies, and let me tell you he does it well. I keep saying he, but I guess I’m assuming that. I mean, suzuneko could be anything… but those are details! Moving on, the art style really reminds me of the sort of work you see in eroge, at times, and then at other times you can see a bit of the Korean artwork influence come out in his works. He seems to stay pretty busy, in fact, just today he posted up a new piece of line art to drool over. Again, I always love seeing the absolute quality of the Japanese crowd, and suzuneko is a shining star among them, for sure, and his eye for color is something that feels so natural you have to think before you notice it. And PLEASE, PLEASE if you love me or the site at all, notice suzunekos amazing ability to capture a quality facial expression. I beg of you. suzuneko is someone that you should all check out, but especially people who like to see their spectacular art of anime characters that they’re fond of. At a glane you’ll see Rio from Super Black Jack, Suigintou, KunKun (mmmmm), Karen Ortensia, and I’d go on but that’s just the first page of his archive.
